The Legacy of Luna by Julia Butterfly Hill
I have always wanted to read this book, so when I came across a used copy at the Bodhi Tree last weekend I knew this was the time. This book tells the story of Hill's two years spent living in Luna, a redwood tree in the Northern California forest, as an act of protest to protect the tree from being cut down. Hill lived on a small platform where she became incredibly efficient with sleeping, eating, washing, working, and having visitors. Her story is an inspiring one.
